Maybe, just maybe I shop at HomeGoods too much

I was reading through my Google reader after being away for the weekend.  Wow, those blog posts add up fast!  When I came to The Nester’s blog, I had to do a double take.   She did a post about TJ Max and Marshalls and put up a collage of pictures of items they have.  And guess what? I own at least 4 of the items she featured.  The yellow urn, the silver bird, the white, silver and black fret type vases…oh my!  It was if she was shopping my house!  Luckily she didn’t show the white mirror and the container I have the hydrangea’s in her collage…but she could of, cause yep, got them at HomeGoods.

I can’t help myself from stopping by HomeGoods, it is literally on the main drag in my town about 6 miles from my house.  I have to pass it almost everyday.  It is a rare day that I don’t walk out of there with at least one thing.   Seriously,  HomeGoods could probably do a photo shoot for an ad at my house with all the stuff I have used from their store to decorate with over the years.  Which leads me to my next item, another a cool purchase from HomeGoods

How cool is this?  At first I thought it was your average cake stand. But NO!  You pull the bottom section out and now you have a tiered cake stand that you can use for just about anything!  Cookies on the bottom, a pie on top.  A cake on top and a pie on the bottom, the possibilities are endless!  I am even thinking about using it for orderves.  And the best thing about this cake stand?  Look at the price!  Yep, I got two.
